We stayed with Marian and her husband, Manuel, for two days in Cordoba. They welcomed us with tea and Manuel was kind enough to accompany us to our car and show us a good place to park. She showed us on a map all the interesting places to see

The clean and comfortable room we stayed in looks out onto a pretty little garden patio. We could imagine it would be a good place to sit and read a book if one had the time. The large bathroom, shared with two other guests and reached by a passage through the house, has a wonderful shower. If you have a flashlight with you, getting to it at night isn't a problem.
I would recommend their place to anyone visiting Cordoba as all the important sights are within easy walking distance and the hosts are welcoming and non-intrusive.
Marian's house was my favorite airbnb we stayed at in Spain. It's a great location, a gorgeous traditional house in very good condition, and is extremely clean and comfortable. The Internet and shower are reliable. Marian is a total sweetheart, and one of my favorite airbnb hosts ever. She received us warmly and was full of recommendations about places to see, local restaurants, and what delicacies to order. She even offered to show us how to make tortillas de patatas in her kitchen. Breakfast was toast and tea/juice in the lovely backyard. Her family and other guests were so kind to us also. I only wish we had stayed more than one night!
